My friend wants to work for a corporate company, what is a corporate company anyone know, all replies welcome.

I work for a corporation but I'm guessing what she means is a large company, not an SME (small to medium enterprise) which employs less than 250 people. There are more opportunities to move horizontally and vertically within the company and less chance of it going out of business. You tend to get little say and more focused jobs though.
