Why do some dogs get hot spots more than others?

I now have the very clumsy girl knocking thinks over as we put the lampshade on her again to stop her biting at it

Benzyl Benzoate is fantastic for drying up hot spots really fast :)

Hi,

Where can you buy this?

Thanks

Ask your local chemist if they have it.  I  couldn't actually get any in my local area (I live in a city) but tracked it down in the pharmacy in a little village.  I think it may be more likely to be stocked by more traditional pharmacists than the big high street chemists.

Thanks for that I will give it a try.

Thanks, will look into that. My only concern is that this one really seems to be hurting her when we put the cream on her. Its heartbreaking to hear her scream. Going to give it a another day or so and if no better, off to the vet for us (M+S must be hating me now).

I thought that Rotties were meant to have a strong pain threshhold, but mine is a little (not so little) baby.
