Topic Dog Boards / General / Recommendation for good kennels in Essex !!
- By sam diss [gb] Date 06.10.06 13:00 UTC
Hi, We are off to Alton towers in a couple of weeks and I need to find a boarding kennel for our dog for the weekend, we have never put her in a kennel before and although there is one near to where we live I would really prefer to have a recommendation even if its quite a drive away, So if anybody knows of any good ones in Essex (We are in Wickford, near basildon/chelmsford) we would appreciate any suggestions thanks.

Kingston kennels in Gardiners Lane Wickford had a good reputation when we lived in that neck of the woods - I do remember that their Quarantine facilities were fantastic - they also bred excellent GSD !

Snap..was just about to recommend Kingstown as well...havent used their kennel facilities but i am always down there buying stuff for my dogs. They were very willing to show me around when i turned up un-announced the first visit i made to them. Web address is (www.kingtownkennels.co.uk) or (www.kingstown.net).

my dog came from kingstown and i always buy my stuff there. The leaflet for the kennels looks good, safe and knowledgable, but I have never actually used it, but i would.
