Hello I'm back from Spain and the more information would be of interest to me too!!

Someone I know got two Shar Pei's about 10 months ago.  I know her background and didn't think she'd be suitable for one let alone two.  I found out recently that she's had one of them put down because of the skin problems, of which I advised her from the start and told her what she needed to do but she told me that I was wrong and that their breeder doesn't have any skin problems!!!

I feel so sorry for the one put to sleep and the one still with her.  I just wonder how long he's going to last in the household and can't believe that she was even sold two!

Hi everyone

I am more than happy to try to help as are several other Pei breeders on Champdogs. Many of us have details in out profile. I to have been battling with one of my girls whom suffers from Hypo T and allergies for several years, that my UK vets wouldn't agree with, it wasn't until I sent blood samples out to the US I got the answers I in my heart already knew, before they would do anything

Perrodeagua unfortunately there are FAR to many in this lovely breed in it for strictly the wrong reasons, and will sell to anyone with the ready money.. this poor breed is heading in the wrong direction extremely fast IMO god help the breed in 5 years time its doomed, and why all because of £ Extreme sad state of affairs.
