We went to a wedding yesterday and my son took loads of photos but unfortunately the computer crashed when he was rotating the images and the memory card is corrupt.  He's lost the photos, needless to say he is not a happy chappie. Does anyone have any advice on what he can do or are they lost forever?

There are data recovery services that specialize in getting stuff off of disks. For something so important I'd contact one of them and ask if they can help.

Ange,

Every photographer's nightmare but hopefully all is not lost.....
Take the memory card to somewhere like PC World.
They may be able to recover the image info.

Good luck. :-)

When I had this happen a couple of years back some kind person on here gave me the following link http://www.snapfiles.com/get/zaimagerecovery.html

It recovered mine for me, I kept it just incase I needed it again.
