I am looking for a stud for my black labrador retriever bitch. This is all new to me and I am finding it all a bit of a minefield. If anyone can help put me on the right track it would be much appreciated. We are in the Hertfordshire area.

You may find the following link on Breeding of some interest. Have you spoken to the breeder of your bitch for help? They may be able to recommend a suitable dog or be able to advise on bloodlines that would compliment her.
