Im wondering if anyone knows of any ringcraft clubs in the Shrewsbury/Oswestry area. Im about Halfway between Oswestry and Shrewsbury so either direction is fine.

Having moved here 18 months ago weve not looked at training clubs as all our dogs have been older ones but with new youngsters on the way I want to source out some clubs - Ringcraft and may be general obedience - we would also be more than happy to help out at any clubs, as we were really active within our old one.

I help out at a ringcraft class at Clun in the village hall on Monday nights at 7.30pm.

I have been away for a few weeks because my girl has just had a litter, but will be back soon with puppies!

Hi, my mum helps run a ringcraft in Moreton Say (between whitchurch and markwt drayton) it runs on a Weds night and is closer than Clun.
There is one at Nescliffe too but not sure what nights they run or any details of contact

There is one in Oswestry itself.  I think it is run by the Oswestry & District CS.  It was advertised in there last show schedule.  I haven't been myself but it said they had match nights etc.  If you get the phone number for the secretary (will be on prodogs), they will be able to give you more info.

THanks very much for your suggestions - Unfortunatly I think certianly the Clun one and the Moreton Say ones as a little to far for me.

Will deffinatly try and find some information about the Nesscliffe one as thats only 5-10 mins away from home and will look at the Oswestry one as well - Still got a few weeks till the pup comes home so plenty of time to do the investigating.

I dont suppose you know of any popular local show sites as well - I used to be 5 mins from Ryton in Warwickshire so all shows seem to be miles away! Its going to be so strange to be out showing again - let alone having to learn a whole new area for shows!
