I tried to reach my dogs breeder but she's out. Maybe someone here can help me? :)

I don't completly understand a bitches cycle, but I'm fairly certain my girl is around the "zone". The other bitch she was with, who had pups a week before she did, is in season more or less now. My question is, along with the frequent urination, is there sometimes a bit of a pong too? Not the urine, the dog! :D

Depends on how good your nose is. Once my girls are in season I can definately detect a feminin odour. If it is a pong I would worry about possible infection! Is there any discharge and what colour is it, if clear to just a little orange, it could be that she will be in season in a day or two when some bright red blood shouls be seen (though sometimes not, as I have one in season at the mo who has been practically colourless). If it is dark discharge and smells get her to the vet asap!
