I have a staffy bitch 16months old now and we walk by the river everyday but the past few days she has or so it looks very much like hives on her tummy and a sore patch on her neck almost as though she has been stung and plus the past 2 days she has gone in the river with another dog and then this appeared any ideas would be great

It's very difficult to say, could be an insect bite or possibly an allergy to something, but the river may be coincidental, if it does not heal or your dog should start to scratch, then get down to the vet for some cream as once skin is broken it can lead onto more serious problems.
