Hello

Hope someone would be kind enough to let me know what size a crate i need to fit for benched shows for a Dalmatian? Also any recommendations on good ones ie. material or metal?

Not sure about the size crate you would need sorry (have pm'd you on this though :-) )

We use both a metal crate and a soft crate, but probably find the soft crate better, it's easier to carry round etc.  My dog does love his crate at a show he see's it as his own den and resting place.

The light n easy from Stock Nutrition is brilliant. I use the 36 inch for my Labs. They are very sturdy, (the crates, not the Labs, although the Labs are sturdy as well), have plenty of mesh area so the dog doesn't feel claustrophobic, and are very light and easy to put up and take down. You can also put a small padlock on them which is invaluable for stopping anybody interfering with your dog and also means you can lock your valuables in your cage whilst you are in the ring if you are at a show on your own.
