Anyone got a good recipe for Apple Sauce-loads of cookers here and wedding/hog roast at weekend so thought I would give it a go! Help:cool:

Couldn't be simpler! Peel, core and slice the apples, bung them in a bowl with a sprinkling of sugar (not too much because you don't want it to be sweet), cover and nuke in the microwave for a couple of minutes until soft enough for your personal preference. Scrummy!

Edit! Don't add water or you'll get apple-soup!

I make mine with a bit of honey.

I add a pinch of ground coriander, brings out the apple flavour beautifully ;) ;)

I was going to say add a bit of nutmeg, but then again I'd be making a crumble :D Love apple sauce. If you don't want to microwave it just bung it in a pan and stew until ready ;)

Just don't do what I did the other week and "forget" about them!  We ended up with caramelised apple sauce!!!

I thought this was to do with the Apple Sauce for cleaning iPods!   That I could help you with, cooking, on the other hand, I'd best leave to everyone else!  :D
