My mum has a cat, and he had lumps (polups) (sp) at the back of his throat, he has had them remove about 4 times but the last time the vet said they would not be able to operate again because they had scraped back so far at the back of his throat, anyway he is a really happy fellow but occasionaly he seems to get an infection and gets snotty and whezzy, the old vet would just subscribe a course of anti-biotics but she has now gone and when this problem re-occours the vet won't subscribe anything with out seeing him which is costing a small fourtune, but my question is is there any herbal remedies or other treatments that could be used, the anti-biotics don't always shift the problem.
