AND SHE LOVES IT.

I tried this a couple of years ago and she turned her nose up at it. Her teeth are getting quite bad and i wanted to give it one last try before having to take her to get them scaled. And she is eating it. Hopefully this means she won't have to have the op.

Do any of you BARFers feed your cats BARF as well. I don't because my mum doesn't want the hassel but my dogs are (don't know where my mums logic in that is but hey!!!)

Just interested - you don't have to answer i was just happy that it may save a £100 .

Sorry
Anna

Yes my Siamese thrive on raw meats.  I feed all sorts of things.  Have you checked out the website Wendy Volhard's, I am sure I read on there about feeding cats raw meat.  They also say to include Salmon oil into a cats diet as it really helps them.  I must say since I fed my Siamese chicken mince free flow their poop is hard like a bullet rather an a squitty mess and its easy to pick up out of the box. However I do feed one meal Royal Canin. They have fresh meats am and dry food pm. It works for us, I know they say you should not mix the two, but it really does work for us, I have 5 Siamese and 1 BSH, I also feed their little ones the same. Baby Cat Royal Canin and raw or cooked meats too.

I wish I could persuade my cats to eat raw. To be fair one of them will occaisonally eat raw mince, but the other, you would think I was trying to poison him  have offered the smaller chicken wings to them, but they arent interested, there only 2 years old, so not that set in there ways.Silverdog, how did you manage to persuade yours? Any tips?
