No, this is a UK based site: CHAMPDOGS.CO.UK :-) so you are in the right place !

If you are a general rescue , have you thought about checking with the Breed Rescue ? Maybe they know of someone who has lost a Poodle. I am sure that you have contact numbers, but if you do not, please email me and I will find the nearest breed rescue to you.
You are also very welcome to post more details about this particular dog if you wish to do so :-)

Hi thanks for that ... yes I do belong to a very small general rescue. I have contacted breed rescue but it has become complex. I fostered this dog after he was in kennels in a terrible state, therefore I want him to go through myself .. home check and everything. Also my rescue has spent a lot of money on the dog .. and although we do not put money as everything, we need to recoup it. Poodle Rescue were however helpful, I have to say not all breed rescues are!!

Again thanks for help and advice ... I posted on Poodle site and a few Rescues offered me help, however in the interim he had gone to live with neighbours of mine in a wonderful and loving home ... I am thrilled .... being so close I have all the pleasure of still getting to see him!!
