ive been putting those cold packs that you get for the freezer to take on picnics to keeps things cold in the dogs water bowl and then when it melts changing it for another one, saves making hundreds of ice cubes! wish i'd thought of it 2 weeks ago, but with the heat wave set to last indefinitely thought i'd post it as  a "tip of the day"

What a good idea. I wonder if a "handy tips" board would be better than the visitors questions, as this now seems to be dead. It could be all encompassing, from tips like this to grooming tips, favourite doggy products/toys etc.
