Well I was talked into a couple of weeks ago to do a test at the training club where i take Carmen.  They asked me to take her mother as they did this a couple of months ago and I came third in the triers class out of 14 dogs.  Lana did about 6 months of obedience as a puppy then the odd week or so over the last few years.

Well they've talked me into doing the advanced test on Tuesday so wish me luck.  I took her training last night for the second time ever in about 2 years and she was brilliant.  She did everything.

I must admit that I'm worried that the obedience bug might take over seeing as I've got no dogs to show at the moment so I'm thinking of gonig to a companionship show on Saturday and entering her in a class there.  I MUST BE MAD :D

Good luck with your next test. We have just been promoted to the next level of class in our training - the first of our original puppy group to go up to the third level. I was actually thinking about having a rest from the training classes as we are still doing things that Harley now does on automatic ( well at training anyway). Perhaps they sensed this and lured me into staying by the move! I know training is an "always and forever" thing but we were doing the same thing, in the same order each time and the two of us were losing enthusiasm for formal training.

Harley is a bit like my son was - always impecably behaved in class but slow to transfer this to out of school!
