Topic Dog Boards / Showing / Benching two different group dogs on same day??
- By danny [gb] Date 19.07.06 12:47 UTC
I have a pug and a french bulldog and have shows coming up at the end of the year.  I show alone as my hubby is not interested.   I assume these breeds are benched seperately if groups on the same day.   Can I put my frenchie with my pug on the one bench as I cannot run between 2 different benches all day??  Will I get told off??

thanks

If it where me I would look for a grooming area near to your ring where people have put up cages and grooming tables.  As long as one of your breed is represented there (in that grooming area) I dont think anyone would mind as long as they are both caged together.

I would put them both on the same bench - cant think anyone would object and its far safer to have them together

Not supposed to have two dogs on the same bench however many people do it and it is difficult to run between two breed and look after each dog.

Is that true?  Well, I didn't know that as my two always share the same cage on a bench.
