My 6 month old GSP puppy has been sneezing a lot in the last day or so. She will be fine one minute, but later on will suddenly sneeze, often 2 or 3 times in a row. Her nose is slightly runny. Is this likely to be just a cold, or could it be something else? We have looked up her nose and cannot see any foreign objects.

She may have been sniffing in old straw or hay or a anything musty, even pollen can have this effect. Or it could be kennel cough. Is there blood in the discharge, if so it could be somthing in the nose even if you can't see it, don't mean specks that can happen with the hard sneezing. don't think it will be anything to worry about but if you think she is unwell or you are worried phone the vets. In the mean time try not to let her sniff anywhere there may be anything to irritate the lining of her nose. Jackie H
