Two days ago on his walk Blu ate something  I could not tell you what it was, a dead something!!!! and whatever it was it had been dead for along time, I expected an upset tummy yesterday but he was fine. But 2am this morning he came scratching on the bedroom door and when I got up there was sick and poo everywhere, I have been up with him ever since, he trying to be sick about every 20mins, and has had 2 more bouts of watery poo and he is really not himself.
is this conected to the nasty thing he ate or could it be something else?

I would call the vet.
Could it be the dead something could have been laced with
something nasty?
I would definately call the vet, it may be something as simple as a nasty bout
of gastroenteritis.
But whatever would still call the vet and get it checked out first.

I agree, if by all means it seems to have now stopped then just keep an eye, his body may have just been discarding the 'bad stuff' and now be ok, otherwise get your dog to the vet a violent bout of sickness and diaoreha needs sorting out if it continues, the vet probably won't have a clue either but will give the appropriate injection/tablets to fight any nasties and settle the stomach.

Rolo was the same the other day it started about 2am and his last bout of sickness and watery poo was about 11am,he was a little lethargic but other than that he was ok and he was keeping water down.I think he had picked up something nasty on a field as he wouldnt come when called and been a labrador is greedy.Hope youir dog is feeling better now.

Poor thing :(
Oscar once ate a dead dried up frog which made him violently sick for a few hours. The vet soon sorted him out though. Hope he gets better soon, xx

I rang the vet and he said to starve him, give him little sips of water and if he wasn't keeping it down, then to bring him to the vets at 7pm. Well what can I say!  there I was spooning little amounts of water  into Blu's mouth all day and although he hadn't been sick since 11am, he was just lying down in his bed feeing very sorry for himself, I must admit I was worried.
About an hour ago he got up he seems normal!  I keep waiting for him to be sick or a have a poo but no he is now drinking water from his bowl and just gone out and had a bark the neighbours cat. and is now playing with his toys, keeps going to his food bowl and barking!!!! ( no food till tomorrow)
There's me worried all day, no sleep, big bags under my eyes and now Blu is bouncing round the house like tigger!!!!

:D I'm glad to hear he's made such a good recovery...and at least you can sleep easy tonight :D

Also very pleased to hear he is fully recovered.
