I am moving to Quadring, near Spalding a week on Tuesday and need a good vet very quickly. Can anyone help?
Thanks
Diane

I use Stephen Elwood of S. P. Elwood Practice. The surgery has about 5 vets but I have not used all of them. Have been satisified by the treatment that both my dogs and myself have recieved. Their phone no. is 01205 722696 and they are at Kirton, about 10 to 15 min from Quadring. Mr Elwood is a Orthopeadics specialist and is sent referrals from other practices in the area.

If it is an ongoing situation it would not hurt to let them know you are on your way and ask your present vet to let you have details of your dogs condision and treatment. If you are not happy you can change after you get here. There is a vet in Spalding, but I have not used them and no nothing of them.

I live in the next village to Quadring so if you want to know anything or need help e-mail me and I'll be happy to help.

Welcome to Linconshire, hope you are very happy here. Jackie H

Diane - I was forgetting my manners and should have said welcome to Lincs as well. Jackie and Melody were obviously "dragged" up better than me :D

I have heard good reports about the Kirton vets as well although I use one more local to me. He refers patients to Kirton for Orthopedics as Jackie says.

I'm about 20 miles from Quadring (near Coningsby) but used to work in Kirton. I hope you settle in well after your move - it really is a nice county and you should be made to feel very welcome.

Sara :)
