hi all, i posted earlier this week about my girls very differant season she had a week of light brown the odd drip then kicked in to red a week ago today, the breeder that is working along side me said to take the red day as day 1 although from other advice i would keep an open mind, today her loss has changed to a watery red but her vulva does not seem as swollen as yesterday, is this a sign i have missed her if you take the brown as day 1 that would be 2 weeks ago, i have run my hand down her back every day but she does not flag her tail but she did today playing with our other girl any advice would be greatly appreciated many thanks.

If she's flagging for your other girl today she's most likely ready now regardless of what day she's on.

Many bitches don't flag just because you run a hand down their backs.

Though sometimes they will stand for their female friends a day or two earlier than they will for a male, but I would still try her now.

I would take her to the dog now.
