Booked into vets at 6pm,but thought would ask opinins here. My dog(peke) has been quiet for a day. You know when something is not right. I bathed him, frontlined him etc,but he was still just quiet and sitting down alot.Did anal glands, they were fine.As hes only 9 months I wondered if his woolly puppy coat was annoying him.Anyway he was miserable again last night, and I again went all over him. I found some weepy discharge on on his testicle and the same on the other side.Bathed him again this morning and cut all the fur away so the vet can at least see what Ive found.Never come across this before, has anyone else?

It could be scrotal eczema. My boy has suffered with this a couple of times. Does he keep licking the area? Let us know what the vet thinks.

A dog I bred started getting this at 3 years old, so they had him castrated. they were considering getting him done as they wanted me to have the dogs while they went away, but of course I could only say yes if none of mine were likely to be in season.

Vet thinks he has grazed them on something, as the two sores are at identical areas, and the most prominent part. She thinks caught it early and have to wash area daily, dry thoroughly and apply cream twice daily. Checked anal glands again but they were fine.
Good news though, that this puppy had a slight heart-murmer at his puppy vet check, so I kept him. Today the vet examined him, and the murmur has disappeared! So very good outcome.
