Can anyone who gives this to their dogs tell me of a good UK supplier please?  I know one good place for organic supplies but they have a £50 minimum order.

Thanks Isabel.  I had tried Google but as you can see, it mostly comes back with tablets or capsules and I wanted the powder (organic if possible), around 2lb/1kg packs.

If it is £13 for the 125g bottle I found you, it is likely to be about £50 for a kilo isn't it, so you will be meeting the minumum order of your first supplier :)

No, apparently it isn't - think £10 was mentioned (going on hearsay from a friend).  Might be another case of bulk supplies being less expensive?  Don't know, might have to phone them myself and find out.

£10 a kilo!  Buy £50 worth and set up a market stall :D  Alfalfa is very chi-chi at the moment I'm told ;)

Wow even better - I've just checked for myself and it is £6.00 per kilo!!  Just the £50 minimum order that is the problem now!  Don't know about it being chi-chi Isabel but it is wonderful stuff, packed with nutrients.

Guess that why its chi chi then, people have found out how good it is ...and natural ;)

Well according to my sources, it contains vits A, B1, B3, B5, B6, B12, C, D, E, K and U, plus betacarotene, biotin, folic acid, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, iron, zinc, copper, protein, trace elements and fibre.  Wow!

Nothing synthetic in sight ;) :D

No, that's no good because I don't take it - as I'm always saying, my dogs' diet is many times healthier than mine. :)  Perhaps I should try some in a sandwich!

Keepers Mix by Dorwest Herbs has Alfalfa in it as well as other things.  Very high quality and in powder form.  You can get powdered alfalfa in health food stores; Hilton Herbs used to stock it too.

Thanks tohme. :)   I did try one health food shop but they only sold tablets.  I'll check out the others you've mentioned but I think it will be hard to beat the £6 per kg for organic alfalfa that I've already found!

Sorry, should have mentioned before that the company doing organic alfalfa at £6 per kg is organicherbtrading.com. As I haven't used them myself yet, I can't vouch for them but a friend has used them in the past.  Only problem is their £50 minimum order :( but they supply lots of other things as well.
