What Vegetables do you feed your dogs? Raw or cooked?
My 22month old BC is looking abit matronly. She has 2 good walks a day with my other younger BC and i currently feed them both Freeflow chicken with cereal am and skinners rough and ready pm. My breeder suggests i give up the cereal and skinners and make sure she has vits. etc needed through vegs. I'm just interested in what vegs. other owners use.
Thanks.

Why not just cut down the amount of food you give to her instead of taking one of the meals completely out ?

That way she will still get the variety :)

I'm still planning on giving her 2 meals a day, Mince and bulking up with vegs instead of cereal and skinners. She is not a big eater, not fussy just doesn't always finish up and sometimes will leave altogether which is why i started on the skinners as she quite enjoyed the different tastes/textures. Volume of food is not the issue. i think she is just a good doer.

Veg I have given :
broccoli, carrots, spinach, cabbage, caulifower - raw

You could just downsize her meals and replace with mixed veg :) that was the advice given to me by my vet :)

I have fed carrotts. cabbage, swede, spinach, cauliflower, courgettes and any type of leafy green veg. I put it in the food processor until it comes out like breadcrumbs and then mix it in with the mince. He tends to eat it all if it is mixed in with something else but will just pick at it if it is fed on its own.
