Thought about adding this to the othe carpet thread:confused:but it isn't quite the same thing! Our 9 week old puppy was sick on the dining room carpet las night, my husband was trying to carry him out, so spread far & wide. Now this morning he won't stop chewing away at the area it was . any ideas how to stop please?

Thanks for any help

I spray Fabreze on any fabric or carpet that the dogs have fouled or vomited on after I have cleaned it up thoroughly,it gets rid of the smell and also stops any bacteria forming.
Hope this helps.

Thank you, I will have to go out & buy some. It didn't even smell when he was sick, but as he picks up all & everything it isn't surprising!

You could try the bio-washing powder diluted in water, the enzymes break down any residues left behind. x

Thank you, but that was what i used to clear it all up & he still seemed to love it! but I have bought Febreze & that seems to have done the trick. He is now in the garden chewing the bottom boughs of the apple tree, let's hope he doesn't eat those!!
