Its has been 3 weeks now since we last went to training and I am really missing it . Only got one more week to miss then I can take her back as next Sunday her season will be over - she is on day 21 now (at least there is no more blood to clear up).

Its a shame that the work we did in the first few sessions would have taken us back a few steps as the main reason I take her is because she gets so distracted by other dogs and people, she is absolutely fine when its just me and her. We have been keeping it up in the garden and on our walks, but to be honest, its not really accomplising much, I have just taken her on the road and not to the park (not taking any risks).

I am going to get her spayed at the end of July as then she will be half way through seasons as the last one finished at the end of Jan, and I don't want her to keep going through this every 4 months, although this 2nd one seems to have calmed her down a lot.

Your decision to spay is a valid one, but just warted to point out that just because a young bitch starts with short season intervals does not mean this will stay the pattern for life.

Several of mine have started this way, but all ended up having 6 to 7 monthly seasons.
