Blues 13 months old now and has shown no intention yet of peeing like a man! lol His still squating like a big girl! Should he be cocking his leg by now? Or might he still do this for a while?

I would count yourself lucky, he will do it sonner or later though some often still squat if they actually want to just pee.

Willis doesn't cock his leg either. Apparently most male danes don't cos they tend to fall over on 3 legs :D :D :D

I have seen Willis occasionally do it - when there is an extra tall plant to lean against :D

My Dachsie is nearly 2 and has only just mastered standing on 3 legs,when he first tried he lifted his leg with such gusto he lost his balance and fell over and wee'd all over himself.
Now he lifts his leg and rests it on something,wall or edging to border etc.

Danes just dont go by the book lol i have seen veterans squat at shows :D Herman cocked at 15months and occasionally does but more often hes a squatter as chloe says they over balance i've seen that more than once.

My 13 month Golden wees like a girl. He doesn't look the least bit interested in getting that leg up. Mine only cocked his leg at about 15 months. However, he now cocks his leg when he poos too which is very odd!

Oh boy, I thought it was just me who had a daft dog who doesn't cock his leg.  My OES is 20 months now and just squats.  Occasionally the left leg lifts about 2'' of the ground but that's it.  Ever seen an OES in full coat with yellow legs!!!

My mums dog is 6 and a half, and never cocked his leg, just stretches his back legs out behind him (to stop them getting splashed I think!)
