Hello,
We have got a 2kg carvery joint of lamb. No idea what kind of cut this is but it does not have a bone. Does anybody know how to cook it? What temperature for how long??
Thanks
GG

Thanks!! I think from this that I need to cook it in the oven at 180 celsius for about two hours and five minutes.
I am such a novice
Well actually I should say we are novices as I don't cook, OH will cook dinner for us.:-D

Yes, go for the medium, in fact knock off the 5 mins, lamb should be pink.  Don't forget to leave it to rest for at about 15/20 mins for the juices to soak back into the meat, it will be so much more tender.  During that time you can turn the oven up and give the roasters that have been making do with the top of the oven a real blast, there, can I come to lunch now? :)

Ours looks like a hedgehog with rosemary sprouting out. I think the lamb must have eaten alot of rosmary before it was put in the shop??? :-D ;-D
