Hi iv just mated my girl (2nd litter) and i would like to have her scanned but my vet is having trouble getting hold of one, does any one know any where in or around the bristol area. thanks in advance.

Which part of Bristol are you in??  We use Rowe Vets at Bradley Stoke, they have a scanner on the premises

i live in southmead. does it matter if shes not registered with that vet? also how much does it cost? iv never scanned before but with the trouble we had last time with the vet saying she wasnt pregnant id rather do it so i know.

iv been told sheep/pig scanners are more reliable is that true? does any one know of one around my area?

They do but it's an old machine, not much good really, not unless they've recently got a new one.  We've just changed FROM Viking vets to Rowe
