we have come back home 3 times recently and the phone has been in our weims bed. when we came back from shopping at the weekend it was in her bed again and had 33 minutes on the digital display. we did 1471 this time and there had been a call roughly 32 minutes earlier!!!! do u ever think your dog is too clever?!!!

:D as long as she doesn't start making the calls :P
Dunno what it is about dogs' and phones' though. My mobile is always in my pocket But if I leave it on the table and go out of the room, one of mine goes crazy if it rings or a message comes through. In fact my OH had left his on the work top once, and I called him but he was out. Maddie must have heard it, alerting her to the phone and chewed it to bits  They don't bother with the house phone, just mobiles  My mums dog howls as soon as her phone starts to ring, so she has to unplug it when she goes out.

Mine all start to "sing" if I don't answer it fast enough.

next thing it will be chat lines and chat rooms.  I blame the parents.

I work from home and my boy hates it when I'm on the phone as he knows he won't get my attention for a while. This has now become a general phone hatred and he has been known to get a phone and run off with it and chew it up.<g> Two of the 3 phones on our home line are very damaged and the one on the office line has a chewed ariel and several teeth marks. (I have to say, it is remarkably tough - it had been on the lawn overnight once, in several pieces, and once I dried the dew off and put it back together it worked perfectly).

We have to be really strict about not leaving phones anywhere he can reach them, and he'll take a flying leap onto the desk in an attempt to get it/them.

We got a puppy last year, and she can't bear him going mad when the phone rings so now fights break out. It sounds so professional, a screaming dog fight in the background during a business call. <VBG>

My RR has recently deciede to improve his education, twice last week he had his head in a book. He obviously thinks he is above picture books though,as he was 'reading' 1984 by George Orwell! :D

Last night after watching me writing on the phone pad (i had put it down on the coffee table) he picked up the pen in his mouth and was trying to write on the paper!!

Perhaps he's read the RR book that says how intelligent they are and decided to 'improve' himself! LOL ;-)
