i was wondering what the signs of a phantom pregnancy are?

one lady i walk with has a little jack x (bella)and she was on her first season abut the same time as my bitch puepa was. i know this becasue we walked the bitches out together away from the other dogs.

however bella's vulva is still quite swollen , her nipples are bigger and pinker and they seem to be filled slightly at the base of each one.

owner has another terrier x male(trevor) who is castrated. but all throught the
season bella was facinated with him.he also tried to mate her.

as far as we know bella has not been out with entire dogs.

could bella think she is pregnant becasue she was mounted by trevor?

do you see physical signs with a phantom?
bella finished her season about a week ago.

When my Lily had her first season, her hormones seemed to stay up in the air for a while afterwards.  Her vulva stayed swollen and so did her nipples/mammary glands, but within a few weeks everything settled down and went back to normal.

When was Trevor neutered?  If it was only recently then there is a chance she is pregnant.

trev is 8 years old and was done as a pup. he came from rescue. so there is no way he could of had anythign in him
