I went to Birmingham Ch show today.  My little girl got second in Open Bitch.  The judge gave the CC to the Junior Bitch winner (who's owner/handler also won Open Bitch with his older bitch who was being handled in the challenge by someone else) and then the judge called me in for the Reserve CC!!  Oops!!  She thought she'd given the CC to the Open bitch!

This started me thinking.  Could the judge have asked for the CC back?  I was talking to my mate about it and I think that once the CC has been given out they can't ask for it back.  My friend thought they could have. 

I was a bit miffed that my girl had missed out on the Res CC at first but afterwards I could see the funny side of it.... because there's more...!!  This isn't the first time this has happened to me!  At SKC about 6 or 7 years ago the exact same thing happened.... with the same exhibitor just different dogs of his and mine!!! LOL  Talk about jammy LOL
