Has anyone heard of or tried dogrocks.  you put them in the dogs water bowl and they are supposed to stop the grass changing colour when the dog wees on it.  Are they safe for the dog and do they work.  Thanks in advance.

Anything that succeeds in doing this will achieve it by changing the acidity of the urine.  Unfortunately this also puts your dog at risk of urine infections and kidneys stones.  Sluicing the area with a can of water is probably the best way of dealing with this but, personally, I don't bother, the grass always grows back :).

We've got grass too :cool: At this time of year I wish that we hadn't as it needs cutting so frequently - but it's lush and green. What is it that my dogs do/don't do to the grass ??? :D :D :D

A drop of apple cider vinegar is supposed to neutralise the wee - also works as a flea deterant apparentley.

That is altering the acidity in the same way.  I don't think a lawn is worth messing with a dog's natural Ph :)
