My puppy who is 7 1/2 months has justed started her first season. Just wondered how long a first season would normally last?

Hi a season last 21 days but can carry onto 28 days  so be wary, keep her away from males .
keep a close eye on her in your garden as a male with jump fences to get to an in season bitch.
If you do decide to take her out ( I dont) I would carry her to the car (or you will have all the entire males sitting on your doorstep) and exercise in a area that is not frequented by dog walkers.
A nice bath at the end of her season helps to get rid of the scent.
