I decided I would get two big ones from the farm shop today ( never have given them to them before) and well what a different reaction from the girls

Moose as I thought looked at me and had that look of 'Christmas in April '  She just took it out of my hands scappered down the garden and started demolishing it

Dudley however was totally different

She took it out my hand very gently placed it on the floor then sat down and started to have a stare out with it :D

After about 5 mins she decided to leave her bone and go and watch Moose :rolleyes:

I had to coax her back and try and make her start to have a go at it :rolleyes: Anyway after about 15 mins she sussed out what to do and started to tuck in :D

Anyway getting to the question how often should you give them if they are fed on a complete dried diet ?

Just waiting to see what the poos are like tomorrow :)

Mine get a bone once a week :) If they are large, we take them away after a while and give them back the next day :) Mine are on raw, so not sure what happens with dogs on kibble - if they are not used to them, they'll either have very hard poos or the squits :D

I must admit I was interested to see the farm shop advertised Pet mince for free but a donation to a dogs charity would be welcome I will have to look into it as we go up there once a week so if it was any good plus we sussed out the rest of the requirements for a barf diet I might consider it

I think it must have done her some good as her recall tonight was excellent , the best I have ever seen
