Stena Line from Harwich to Hook of Holland take dogs onboard.  I can't say how good they are for dogs but the blurb seems good.  The ferry takes approx 3 1/2 hours or there is a overnight ferry from Holland only.

Iv'e  took my dog on the Harwich/Hook van Holland ferry before, the dog has to stay in your car for the crossing. Recently i used the Hull/Rotterdam ferry and your dog is put in a kennel over night, well i call it a kennel but it looks more like a large pet carrier. You can now also travel from Newcastle to Amsterdam with pets.

Hull/Rotterdam is with P&O Ferries.

We have travelled from Harwich to Hoek Van Holland with Stenaline on numerous occasions 3 hour crossing and overnight. The Hounds did stay in the car but Stena staff below were excellent and kept an eye on the Hounds which was great!

To get the best price you have to haggle a little....When you get a quote ask them if they can not do better ;-)
