Did anyone else see that absolute shambles of a programme last night on Channel Four? Did cat people make it? I felt so sorry for that poor golden retriever, Dusty. What a holiday for her - no discipline, stolen sandwiches, the unwelcoming cat. That family were mad - they must never have read any basic book about dogs, they didn't have a clue. What was the motivation of the programme makers? They hardly proved the family worthy of a dog - and then they showed them with a border collie pup!!! Of all dogs to get, they chose and active, intelligent one. The Mum will be home with it all day, but she is not interested in a dog. The dog would get frustrated & bored I am sure. What breeder would let such a pup go to that family? They should have had a smaller breed for sure - the daughter was pulled over by Dusty. The programme makers hardly made any effort to talk about training. And the fleas - who sprays a cat with flea spray when their dog is in the room!!!
ARRRGGGGGggghhhhhh! I was really furious after watching it. I was hoping for a bit of support from the media after the last dog attacks but this programme just showed dogs to be naughty, smelly, in the way and a real pain to have around.
Good job we all know different!

I saw it too and I agree entirely with what you're saying. However, I know Dusty and her owner, and don't want to get sued, but if you want to know the full story, please feel free to email me!!
