Should be renamed to "potential divorce"! I was looking forward to a nice few relaxing days when hubby comes up with a plan.........."I'll do the computer room". OK I thought, it's about time, i'll vanish on long walks with the dogs. Humph!Guess who then spent friday, washing the walls down, the blind, the skirting board. Sat and Sun sorting out the rubbish he'd accumulated - 10 black bags and many many boxes down the dump. (it's a small room.) Of course Monday was a blazing row! But I will admit it looks great now.
Roll on bank holiday.............

I know what you mean. OH is off til next monday and on my return from newly joined fat club bites my head off for putting my car in the drive cause he was going to pop out! Forgot that after 7 days straight with him I'm supposed to read his mind. Oh well the wine and cuddle from the pups makes me calmer! Hope things have quietened down for you too.

Thay have now thank you! I really want to do the spare room but will wait until he is away in August...............much less stress!

Hmmmmmmmmmm
I have been nagging about the bathroom for ages so hubby decided it would be done over easter. New suit fitted last year, no tiles on walls or flooring a real mess. Anyway I am chucking all the fittings and wanting new ones. They came with the house and we have been here 12 years. I asked though if we could go and but the said fittings and cabinets before taking the old ones down. That way we can paint and put them straight up and not have everything lieing around. Good idea he says. Goes upstairs and takes down all the shelfs. toothbrush holder, towel rails. Loo roll holder, cabinet. Two weeks later we are still living with the loo roll sitting on a tin of paint. Towels over the bath. and everything everywere. I have done my bit, five coats of paint. He is tieling. A bit at a time when he feels like it. No cabinets ect have been purchased and I am wondering if it is grounds for divorce. If I say anything it is my fault because i nagged about it

We can't win! If only we had been taught tiling/plumbing/electricity at school instead of cooking (my mum did better) and needlework (broke every single needle in the stupid sewing machine)!
Good luck!

Talk about nagging, grrrrrrrrrr

just before x-mas I believe November hubby and I started on the other half of the living room (my tv and puter are only maybe 5 feet from my couch had to pull everything forward) and well was suppose to be all done. We removed plaster and old insulation put in new stuff and chipboard and he mudded and sanded and started painting... Now come May it will be

6 months and he's still not done. Got sick of nagging and going to see how long this will take him.... MEN!!!!

No good suggesting decorating to OH he has never lifted a paint brush in all our married life. I spent Easter painting the outside of the house (including going up the ladder) or painting the wood work in the hall as that looks a mess as well. Still not finished either as the weather over took the outside and have to wait until next Sunday afternoon to finish the hall.
I can't work with OH - so I end up doing it all myself. So far have tiled kitchen and bathroom, completely redone living room and two sons bedroom. Did intend to do the hallway over Easter, but didn't seem to get around to it. Do struggle with some things though - like cutting tiles in awkward shapes but if I didn't, no one would do it.
