Is anyone else having problems with the board?  This morning I had, apparently, no new posts at all but when I looked under the post subjects there were new posts since I last looked.  It normally tells me how many new posts any given subject has but these seem to have disappeared?
Don't know if it's just me....

There have been quite a few problems over the last few days .....hopefully the perpetrators will soon get bored with this board and will go and play elsewhere:rolleyes:

Admin has done a wonderful job, getting rid of the nastys - thank you!

Yes I know that and I quite agree - however that does nothing to answer my question LOL.  Is anyone else having this problem or is it me/my computer?
- By CALI2 [gb] Date 27.03.06 07:46 UTC
I had the same problem this morning too.
- By Soli Date 27.03.06 07:48 UTC
TY :) At least now I know it's not me :D

Sorry - obviously haven't had enough coffee to answer properly:rolleyes: - but yes, I did mean to say its the same with me :D

sorry but since the change of the forum all I've seen is thousands of new posts but none read and after reading this I went to have a look and its still the same to me  only the thousands have been replaced with smaller numbers of posts but they still say all new and will carry on saying that whatever except on the forum page which isn't showing any and I'm rambling now so I will go and take a walk in the rain

You've sneaked onto my laptop haven't you :D   Mine have all been marked "new" since the original change and now all are marked old (these from the main page rather than under individual headings)

I'd walk in the rain too but as it's chucking it down the dogs have their little bots firmly planted indoors  :D
- By Missie Date 27.03.06 10:48 UTC
oh at least I'm not on my own then with the old/new posts. To be honest I read 'active topics' now so don't take much notice any more.

You don't need the dogs to walk in the rain Teri, go on, put ya wellies on and go splash about ;)

:D

I always view through active topics,a sn when you click on the subject it takes you to the first new post, and this has not changed over the last few days. :)
- By Missie Date 27.03.06 10:59 UTC
No, its the 'posts new' in brackets that never changes, before today mine said something like '37564 new' :P when I had in fact read them all. But I don't take much notice now except the 'posts new' has been somewhat reduced :) Active topics is soo much easier to read than going through each and every board like I used to :)
- By Brainless [gb] Date 27.03.06 11:24 UTC
If you want the posts new to change you need to log out or clik on the mark all as read.
- By Missie Date 27.03.06 11:29 UTC
'Mark all as read'
I can find 'mark old manually' or collapse topic branches but not that one in options? I will try logging out but if I don't come back its because I've forgotten which password I've used :D :D

- By Brainless [gb] Date 27.03.06 13:59 UTC
You have the mark read if you click forum and then it is one of the options.
- By Missie Date 27.03.06 14:03 UTC
 now they are all read, even the ones that haven't been :P Think I will stick with what I know best - nothing  :D :D :D
- By Brainless [gb] Date 27.03.06 14:17 UTC
Yes it w8ll make it al read, but that's OK if you want to start afresh and don't want to read any old posts.

logging out and then back in will be the best option.
