Douglas went for his first injection and a check up today.Poor thing has a hernia but she said it had sealed off???? also his testies hadnt come down yet:((he`s 8 weeks today.Couldnt stop and ask her to much as a cat had got loose in the waiting area and was going balistic because there was a dog in the room.
We managed to walk around the village (well i did Douglas got carried:) ) just so i could get him used to the cars(didnt bat an eyelid) and we had so many people comming over to us i felt like a celebrity !!:)

If the hernia has closed then it is not a problem. And 8weeks is too young to worry about his testies, depending on breed I would not worry until at least 6 months and even then there is still time. Can never understand people that hold a cat on their laps in a waiting room, I would have thought however good the cat it is asking for trouble. Jackie H

Kassie has a hernia- her's is closed:) The breeder told us all about it and said that they are hereditary and she has had then running back 5 generations- I don't think they're anything to worry about when they're closed:)
