Topic Dog Boards / Feeding / freeze beef before feeding?
- By zarah Date 22.03.06 21:34 UTC
I'm thinking of switching my dobe over to an entirely raw diet (currently feed half kibble and half raw). I haven't finished my research yet :D and have a couple of books on the way. Earlier on I recalled having read on here (a couple of months or so ago) that beef should be frozen for at least an ??? amount of time before feeding it, to kill a certain bacteria

Does anyone know anything about that, as I can't remember the exact details and cannot find the post

Would it also apply to recreational bones such as a beef knuckle, or is it just the meat..?

Thanks for any help in advance!
