LOLOLOLOL

The boys are Delhaze Nevada & Delhaze Earl Grey We're not usually on the benches as we like to watch the judging But you can't miss us as I have a grooming arm attached to the grooming table to hang my posh jacket on I can guarantee no one else in cavaliers uses one ! & find that you'll find me !

Obedience LOL it's the same as the Border Collies/GSDs etc do heelwork, retrieve, recalls & stays Only I've not had time to train the boys upto competition standard

Hi Danny,  Mildred Pug is entered, but I don't think will be able to attend, as she brought a bought of runny nose and sneezing back from Crufts, and it looks like she will not be 100% by the weekend, at the rate the bug is going.  Good luck and enjy the show.
bye

I wish I could go!

But my baby is 100% out of coat :'-(

There seems to be a lot of KC about.  We caught it at the last breed CH show that we went to.  My breeder caught it at LKA, and I know someone that had 2 pregnant bitches and she went to a show without them when they were 3 weeks gone, came back with KC and they lost their litters.  It really upsets me that people take sick animals!

Has it always been like this?  If so do breeders with pregnant bitches / puppies miss shows when they have either?  If so and you had 2 litters in one year I assume that this would mean that you would have to miss most of that years showing????

Also a worry with Crufts was the rumours of parvo.  Mine are all vaccinated, but I know that this isn't 100% certain.

Can any of you give your Kennel names (or KC names of dogs) so I can keep an eye out for your results .... it would be nice to put names to faces and to have someone to cheer on :-)

Thankfully Mildred has not got KEnnel Cough, simply a bit of a "snotty" nose and associated sneezing - no coughing, no chest trouble, no temperature.  however, I don't feel it is fair on Mildred to take her not 100% or on other dogs to have a potentially infectious Pug present !  There is another thread from last week about people taking sick dogs to shows - it seems the height of thoughtlessness to me, both for the dog and others present, but some will always be so eager to show they lose all common sense.

Happy to give registered names, even though we won't be out and about this weekend - Mildred and Mabel the Pugs are Watermark MArzipan Kisses and Mopsenburg Hello Sweety, Algernon, when he comes out, is Absolut Algernon at Watermark, and Daisy (American Cocker) is Watermark Daisy Duke.

bye
Gwen

If anyone reads this that's going, and has a camera on them, I would be really grateful for pictures of the exhibition, as my Cavalier's painting is going to be there! :-)
