hi, i was wondering if anyone can give me any advice of my male chihuahua? he smells of urine! lol.
i bath him alot but i cant possibly bathe him everyday or should i as everytime he does a wee he must wee on his hair as he is a longcoated one, i have tried to wipe him down with baby wipes but i dont think it makes much difference! has anyone else got the same problem? many thanks

Yes, I also have a male Chi that does the same thing. he does it all over his coat and sometimes even on his front leg :rolleyes:. What I do is put him in a sink every time we come from a walk and wash his tummy and surrounding area quickly..... he doesn't seem to mind it and usually waits for me in the bathroom.

funny that you should say that as that is exactly what i did this afternoon after our walk, he seemed to like it too my bitches werent that impressed though, can you buy any cologne to spray on them? as once its up my nose it seems to stay there. lol. thanks

I have to say I've never used any spray to conceal the smell (perhaps I'm so used to it I can't smell it :rolleyes:), but I have seen it in my local pet-store (I'm not from UK though). They have different scented ones, like lavender or rose or something and it says that the spray itself doesn't cause any allergic reaction as it's 100% natural. If you want me to, I can check out the name and perhaps it's possible to buy it on line.....
