I've just bought my 13 wk old Golden Retriever one from PAH. What on earth am I meant to do with it?! The instructions say to put meat stock in it and freeze it?! My carpets say 'No Thanks' to that!! And I don't fancy giving him the liver paste that can be bought for it.
Any other ideas? Ive stuffed a Bonio inside it for now, but I feel mean 'cause poor Sion can't get to it at all bless him!
Thanks.
Lol its not meant to be that easy for them to get the filling out. I put things like Kibble and peanut butter, or a little cream cheese in mine, (well when I can find out where libby has hidden it:rolleyes:) However some frimly wedged in kibble usually does the trick for libby :D

All I have t do is try and get the bloody Bonio out! Me and my bright ideas!
Don't worry about getting it out, believe you me, he will, might just take him a little time, but thats the general idea of kongs :D

I use chicken and rice with a little bio yogurt mixed in and frozen, or thier normal food, or cheese and ham and bio yogurt.

I think I must have the only dog in the world who can't see the point of Kongs. Only he absolutely loves playing with it provided you don't put anything edible in it. Then he gives you a look that says "Thanks a bunch. Now you've ruined a perfectly good toy!"
My dog wasn't that interested in her puppy kong - she had the bone shaped one where you stuff both ends.
Now she has the beehive shaped puppy kong (much more bouncy) and likes it stuffed with chappie. keeps her amused for ages and she wont stop until she gets the last lick out of it.
As messy as they sound, freezing stuff in them doesnt actually create that much mess because the dogs lick it up in no time.

Bananas fit well into the center of a Kong. :)
