I know I am going to sound really stupid as I am new to this pedigree bit but what do all the abbreviations mean ....  I know that Ch is obviously Champion and Sh Ch is supreme champion!?

I am mainly referring to the abbreviations used in the breeder section when referring to the different shows won etc.  I only ask from an interested point of view.  We are finally getting our GR puppy in a couple of weeks and I was just looking (again :rolleyes:- sorry but really excited about the puppy) at the sire's kennel page and his pedigree as my breeder showed these to me when I visited the pup at the weekend and I couldn't remember all the details.

Sh. Ch. is show champion which you will find gundog breeds get this title as they can't become a full champion until they qualify in the working field !
