How many eggs per week would you give a 13wk GSD.?
She has them scrambled and is on Two per day
I have been giving them to her for lunch.
I know there must be a max amount but she just loves them.

I'd try giving them raw - shell and all :) I just crack them into my dogs dinner bowls. Can't tell you how many to give - mine get two a week, but they aren't GSDs :)

I agree with Daisy, give them raw :) No need to cook them, raw eggs are healthier IMO and are what puts the shine on their coat. You could probably give them 3-4 times per week.My adults get a raw egg on top of their food every second day, sometimes every day :)

Amusing to watch my dog eating whole raw egg. Always give it to her outside though where she rolls it, picks it up then puts it down and whines at it. I usually give it a little tap to start her off but she won't just crunch straight into it whole.  Funny thing :D

I give my dogs a whole raw egg per day from 7 weeks complete with shell.

why do you need to give the shell??? they are not chickens, do they need grit??

Not grit, but it's a natural form of calcium. :)

As JG says, eggshell is a natural form of calcium which can be used by the dog and why throw something away when it can be used?

One of the joys of feeding raw is that there is less packaging waste and you can feed what others dispose of! :)

Many thanks all.
I will continue with the eggs.
Jasmine will be very happy that she can still have her eggs
