Hi Guys, just wanted to check something before I send of an entry to an open show. my dog is 19mths and now out of Junior but I am debating whether to put him in Novice or Graduate? His wins to date are RBD (CHAMP SHOW), BOB(OPEN SHOW)  Ist AVNSC Terrier OD/B + group 1(open show), Ist AVNSC special yearling (open show). Do the wins in AVNSC count???? I have the read the schedule and it states 3 or more first prizes at open/champ level, Help!

OK stay with me on this one LOL

To win out of novice you have to have won 3 or more first prizes at CH or open level (puppy classes do not count).  If it's a breed class you're enetering then you only count breed class wins.  If it's a variety class then you count breed AND variety class wins.

Hope this helps

Hi Debs, its a breed class we are entering and he has had 2 wins in his breed( BOB, RBD)  so I think we are ok to enter Novice. Cheers, Clare
