Hi, help needed please! Roxy is now 6 days post whelp and for the past 4 nights she has been going out to the loo probably about 6 or 7 times. She does go aswell. Lots of poos and lots of wees. Her poo is formed and not runny. I am obviously feeding her more and I presume the weeing is because she is taking in alot of fluid via her food being soaked. I have also been wondering as to whether she may have a week bladder due to the c-section. Has anybody else experienced this or have any ideas of what I could feed her to help decrease her wastage. I am going to go and get her some jwb puppy food but she has not been eating dried food unless it is well soaked which makes her wee for England and I also still have to add a wet food. Have you any suggestions for a good non bulking wet food. She does not seem too bad during the day but obviously i dont want to start feeding during the night. Please help as I wouldn't mind getting a bit of sleep. Louise

How much more than normal are you feeding her? It could be that you've increased her food too quickly. I've found with mine that for the first few days post-whelping that they eat only slightly more than usual, but the amount needed increases as the puppies grow and take more milk from her. At about three weeks, when I start weaning, the bitch will be eating about 4 times her normal, non-pregnant 'maintenance' quantity. It's possible (not saying you are) you're feeding her too much and overloading her digestive system.
