i am very loathed to put this post up but if someone can help it will be all the better i have a 5yr old staffy whom i love very much but cannot look after any more my husband was disabled in a car accident and i am his main carer now f/t and with 4 kids as well cannot give my dog the time love and attention he needs and need to rehome him soon as possible the rspca has a waiting list of months and so does pdsa any suggestions please sob sob

If you are still in touch with your dog's breeder then that should be your first port of call.  Failing that you could try SBT Rescue - google for contact nearest your own area.  General rescue centres are sadly often over-filled with this breed so a breed rescue is more likely to be able to assist.

I'm sorry to read about your sad change in circumstances.

Sorry about your hubbys accident... must be hard. Also....have you tried contacting local dog training clubs.. often people there have contacts or members who are interested in getting a new dog maybe after a loss... your Staffie might be ideal for someone like that. The KC can give you a  list of local clubs who might be able to help.  Also your local vets might know someone or at least let you put up a note and photo.
