My girl seems to really like liver, and I was wondering how often it would be ok to give her liver? The vet advised me to put a little bit of meat in with her kibble to get her to eat it (she turns up her nose at just soaked kibble) and she adores lamb mince, tuna, sardines (with and without tomato),and cooked chicken mixed in (only about two-three tablespoons as I am cautious about upsetting the value of the kibble) . She seems to prefer pork liver over chicken. How often is this ok to feed and what is the nutritional value of liver for dogs (must be a stupid question, but does it have the same value as for people?)

Once a week is plenty for dogs if feeding as a main meal. For example my GSD and Weimaraner have a meal of around 400 g of liver each once a week.
If you are only feeding tiny amounts to make dried food more palatable then you could do it more frequently.
The nutritional value for dogs mirrors that of humans and also has the same problems ie OD on liver could possibly prove toxic due to its high Vitamin A levels. Hence why one feeds only once a week and with caution with complete foods that already contain Vitamin A.
ps there is no such thing as a stupid question....................
Thanks so much for that advice, and also for not taking it as a stupid question. I was wondering if you could advise me on the other foods I give her? As I said, it is all mainly to make her kibble more palatible to her, so is only fed in small amount (not her main meal, but up to about 1/4 of her meal (the rest being the kibble). I usually vary it between sardines, both in sunflower oil or in tomato sauce. Tuna she is not so keen on, so she would only get this maybe twice a month, but primarily she likes lamb mince or beef mince. How much per week would be ok for mince etc? I try to vary things, but she is quite a fussy eater, and so for a while wouldn't eat anything unless it had canned tomato in it  Liver was the only thing she would eat yesterday after flat refusing canned senstivity diet for a day and a half (she is back on senstivity diet as she has been to the vet with some kind of agitation in her throat - looks like she swallowed something that has scratched her throat, which she managed to shift herself, but which has left her throat a bit tender (she was sedated with a camera put down, so we know whatever caused the agitation is gone), so she is off the kibble now for a week and only on soft foods).
I would love to know what kind of range I could give her and in what amount to give her a balanced healthy diet. She is currently on Royal Canin Osteo and Digest after she had a bout of nasty stomach problems as a pup which had come about as a result of sensitivity to Burns. She isn't a great lover of kibble, but I am not a great lover of many canned meats on the market, which are packed with rubbish, and the only way she will eat kibble is with an added flavour like meat or fish.
I honestly pay more attention to her health and wellbeing than my own!

Have you tried Naturediet?
This is a wet food, rice, meat, bonemeal and carrots, and most dogs do well on it.
She didn't get on with that either. The vet didn't actually tell me if she was allergic to a specific ingredient, just that she was sensitive to Burns. We then changed her to Naturediet and the stomach problems continued (passing mucus, having the runs constantly). The vet suggested we try Osteo and Digest and since she was on that she has two firm poos a day and is thriving. She did have a stool sample sent off, and a blood test, but that was the only conclusion the vet gave us.
